The original Church that we read about in the Bible was a church where a decision to follow Jesus Christ made you immediately a part of the church, so at Life Bridge Christian Church, we follow that pattern. We refuse to impose upon people more than what the Word of God asks to be a Disciple of Jesus. Nor, do we require less than the gracious gift of salvation by faith, which is obtained by belief in Jesus as the only means of salvation, repenting of sin, confessing Jesus as Lord, and being baptized by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
If you have already committed your life to following Jesus Christ and have been baptized into Him, you are already a member of the church of Jesus Christ. However, the Bible is clear that following Jesus can not be done in isolation, so the next step is for you to find a local faith community that will provide you with discipleship, fellowship and oversight in your faith journey. If you feel that Life Bridge Christian Church may be that faith community, before you commit to membership, we want to make sure that you will be comfortable here and have a good understanding of what we believe the Bible teaches. In order for that to happen, we ask that you participate in a class entitled "Foundations 101". By taking this class you will become familiar with the doctrine and structure of Life Bridge as well as what we believe the Bible says regarding what is required to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Even if you have been a Christian for many years and may have been a member of other churches in the past, we still would like you to go through Foundations 101 before committing yourself to the Life Bridge community.
Upon completion of Foundations 101, you can then make an informed decision as to whether or not Life Bridge is the faith community God is calling you to be part of. If at that time you believe this is the faith family for you, then we ask that you sign a membership agreement stating that you wish to be considered a member and that you agree to be in submission to the eldership and allow that leadership to hold you accountable in your growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
