Our core values are the priorities that shape our church culture and describe what we aspire to embody as a community. These distinctives inform everything we do across our ministries; they make up our church DNA.
1. JESUS SHAPED
Jesus is the ultimate goal
Our highest value is that we seek in all we do to reflect, glorify, and become like Jesus. This means that Jesus takes center stage in our life together, because the Bible says that He is the King and head over the church. To that end, Life Bridge receives it shape and character from Jesus.
2. WORD CENTERED WORSHIP
The Bible is our ultimate authority
We hold to the historic Christian doctrine of "Sola Scriptura," meaning that Scripture alone is our authority in all matters of faith and life. In everything, the question we seek to answer is: "What does the Bible say?" Our weekly worship services feature expository, verse-by-verse preaching through books of the Bible, and we sing songs that are consistent with the Bible's teachings.
3. LIFE-ON-LIFE DISCIPLESHIP
Growth happens in community
Christians were never meant to live in isolation. Rather, the Bible commands believers to prioritize shared life with other believers and not to "neglect meeting together." We believe that healthy Christians maintain fellowship at three key levels: congregation, community, and companions, and we regularly encourage the importance of personal discipleship among believers.
4. FAMILY FOCUSED
Encouraging families and being one
Healthy families are the building blocks of healthy churches and healthy societies. When families flourish, everyone benefits. We recognize this as one of God's fundamental designs for humanity. With that in mind, we seek to strengthen families through our focus on children, youth, and parenting. Additionally we seek to be a healthy spiritual family to all who are a part of our congregation.
5. GOSPEL MISSION
Good news for everyone
The Church is meant to be more than a gathering of believers in one place once a week. The Church is an agent of God's mission to bring the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth so that lost people can discover the grace of Jesus. Every believer at Life Bridge is a missionary, sent by Christ, to bring the good news across the street, across the city, and across the world.
